Made-to-Measure

Made-to-Measure Suits

A refined base pattern adjusted precisely to your measurements — excellent fit, faster and more affordable than full bespoke, and the choice most of our clients make.

The best of both worlds

Made-to-measure gives you the speed and value of a proven pattern with the fit of personal measurement. We start from a base block that already flatters, then adjust it to your body, posture and preferences. For most people, the result is indistinguishable from bespoke — at a friendlier price and a faster turnaround.

What you choose

  • Fabric — from breathable tropical wool to Super 120s and above
  • Two- or three-piece, single or double-breasted
  • Lapel, lining, buttons and trouser cut
  • Fit preferences — slim, classic or relaxed

Turnaround

Most made-to-measure orders are ready in 2–3 days with a fitting to fine-tune. Travelers on a tighter timeline should read our same-day suits page for what is realistically possible.

Made-to-measure vs bespoke

If you want the absolute best fit and full control of every detail, step up to bespoke. If you want a superb suit at great value, made-to-measure is the smart pick. Compare both on the custom suits page and see the price guide.

Frequently Asked

How fast is made-to-measure?

Most made-to-measure suits are ready in two to three days with one or two fittings. Because the pattern starts from a proven block rather than being drafted from scratch, there is less time between cutting and the first fitting than with full bespoke. Express and same-day options are available for travellers on tight schedules, though we confirm those against your real dates rather than promising them in advance. Tell us when you fly and the fitting schedule is planned backwards from that.

How is made-to-measure different from bespoke?

Made-to-measure adapts an existing base pattern to your measurements; bespoke drafts a new one for your body. Made-to-measure is faster and better value, and for a symmetrical build with no strong quirks it reaches a result most people are delighted with. Bespoke earns its cost when there is asymmetry to solve — a lower shoulder, a forward posture, arms that hang differently. We will tell you at the counter which one your body actually needs rather than defaulting to the more expensive route.

How much does made-to-measure cost?

Made-to-measure two-piece suits at My Suit Bangkok start from around ฿7,500, rising with fabric tier and construction, with a three-piece from about ฿9,900. Fittings are included rather than charged separately. The exact figure is confirmed at your fitting once cloth is chosen, before anything is cut. Our price guide is published on the site rather than quoted only in person, so you can budget before you travel to Pratunam rather than negotiating at the counter. If your budget is fixed, say the number and we will tell you what it buys.

Will it actually fit well?

Yes, because you are measured in person and try the garment on at a fitting, then it is adjusted on your body. That in-person step is the whole difference between made-to-measure and an online order built from numbers you typed into a form. Around twenty measurements are taken along with notes on posture and stance, and the corrections at the fitting are marked in chalk on the garment while you are wearing it. Bring the shoes you intend to wear — trouser length is set from the shoe.

Can I order several suits at once?

Yes, and it is usually the more sensible way to build a wardrobe. The first suit takes the normal cycle because the pattern is being established and proven on you; later ones move faster since that work is already done. Three suits in rotation will each outlast a single suit worn daily by a wide margin, because wool needs a day out of service to recover in Bangkok humidity. Start with navy and mid-grey, which cover almost every situation, then add from there.
