Express Tailoring

Same-Day & 24-Hour Suits

On a tight Bangkok schedule? We offer honest express tailoring — from same-day shirts to a 24–72 hour suit — without the over-promising you will hear elsewhere.

Fast, but honest

Plenty of Bangkok shops advertise a "24-hour suit." The truth is that a suit rushed overnight, without a real fitting, is a compromise on fit. We would rather tell you that up front. If you have the time, 2–3 days with one or two fittings gives a far better result. If you genuinely only have a day, we will make it work and be clear about the trade-offs.

Realistic turnaround

TimelineWhat's comfortable
Same dayCustom shirts, simple alterations, a rushed suit for straightforward builds
24–48 hoursA made-to-measure suit with one quick fitting
2–3 daysOur recommended timeline — proper fittings, best fit
Not a rush jobFull bespoke, and anything needing cloth ordered in — neither can be compressed into a departure date

What affects speed

  • Garment complexity — a two-piece is faster than a three-piece or an overcoat.
  • Fabric on hand — choosing from cloth we stock is faster than special orders.
  • Fitting availability — the earlier you come in, the more fitting time we have before you fly.

Travelers: how to plan it

Come in the morning you arrive if you can. We measure, cut immediately, and schedule your fitting the same evening or next morning. If you want the smoothest experience, book a fitting slot before you land. See the price guide for base prices — the express surcharge is confirmed when you order.

Prefer to take your time?

If you are an expat or living in Bangkok, there is no need to rush — explore custom suits, bespoke, or a full wedding suit at a relaxed pace.

Frequently Asked

Can a suit really be finished the same day?

For some garments and some cloths, yes — but it depends on the style, the fabric and how busy the workroom is, so we confirm it against your actual dates rather than promising it in advance. Express work is real at My Suit Bangkok and it is also the area where this industry over-promises most. A simple two-piece in cloth already in the shop is a very different proposition from a three-piece in a fabric that has to be ordered in. Ask with your real dates and you will get an honest answer.

What is a realistic timeline on a short Bangkok trip?

Come on your first day rather than your last and two to three days is comfortable for a suit with one or two fittings. The constraint is almost never the sewing — it is leaving enough hours between fittings for a correction to be made and checked. Shirts are the most compressible garment; a fully canvassed three-piece is the least. If you only have 48 hours, say so at the start and we will tell you which garments actually fit that window rather than taking the order regardless.

What should express tailoring never mean?

It should never mean skipping the fitting, and it should never mean a fused jacket sold to you as a canvassed one. Speed comes from workroom scheduling and from starting with cloth already in stock — not from removing the steps that make a garment fit. If a tailor offers a suit with no fitting at all, you are buying an off-the-peg garment with your measurements written on the ticket. That is a legitimate product, but it should be priced and described as one.

How do I get the most out of a short trip?

Arrive with three things: your dates, the shoes you will wear, and a clear idea of the occasion. Those remove most of the back-and-forth from the first appointment and buy you an extra fitting later in the week. Choosing from cloth already in the shop rather than ordering something in also saves a full day before cutting begins. Booking ahead matters more on a compressed schedule than at any other time, because an early slot on day one is worth more than any other hour.

Does being inside Platinum Fashion Mall make express work faster?

It genuinely helps. My Suit Bangkok has its cloth, its workroom and its fitting room all in the same building at 419/A Oxford 5, 2nd Floor, Platinum Fashion Mall, Pratunam, so when a garment needs correcting there is no transport step between the fitting and the bench. That step is where a day usually disappears in this trade. Being able to walk back in the same evening — we are open until 20:00 daily — is a practical advantage rather than a marketing one, and it is the main reason a compressed schedule works here at all.

What happens if my flight changes?

Tell us as soon as you know and we re-plan the fittings around the new date. A flight moving earlier is the harder case, and it is far easier to solve on day two than on the morning of departure. If the garment genuinely cannot be finished to standard in the time left, we would rather say so and arrange to ship it than hand you something we would not put our name to. Message us on WhatsApp the moment the date moves rather than waiting for your next fitting.
