Custom Shirts
Made-to-measure shirts in your choice of cotton, collar and cuff — the perfect partner for any suit, and quick enough to finish while you are still in town.
Cut to your collar and cuff
An off-the-rack shirt fits at the neck or the body — rarely both. A custom shirt fits everywhere: collar, chest, waist and sleeve length measured to you. Choose your cotton, collar style, cuff, placket and buttons, and we will make it your everyday standard.
What you can choose
- Cotton weight and weave — poplin, twill, oxford, linen blends for the heat
- Collar and cuff styles, including French cuffs
- Monogram and contrast details
- Slim, classic or relaxed fit
Better value in packs
Shirts start from ฿1,200, and packs of three, five or seven bring the per-shirt price down — the easy way to build a work wardrobe. Once we have your measurements on file, re-ordering from abroad is simple. See the price guide and the Business Bundle that pairs shirts with a custom suit.
Quick to make
Shirts are among the fastest garments we produce — often same-day or next-day. If time is tight, read same-day tailoring, then book a fitting.
Frequently ✳ Asked
How much does a custom shirt cost?
Tailored shirts at My Suit Bangkok start from around ฿1,200, with the price moving on cloth quality and cotton count rather than on the making. Ordering several at once is where the value sits, because the pattern is drafted once and reused for every shirt after it. Most clients order three to five at a time and rotate them. A shirt is also the least expensive way to test whether a tailor is any good before committing to a suit — which is exactly what we would suggest if you have not used us before.
Why do off-the-peg shirts fit badly?
Off-the-peg shirts are sized on collar and sleeve alone, leaving the body to a single average that fits almost nobody. That is why a collar that fits comes with a billowing waist, or a body that fits strangles your neck. Made-to-measure separates those dimensions — collar, chest, waist, yoke and sleeve are each cut to you. The difference is most obvious when the shirt is tucked in and you sit down, which is the moment an off-the-peg shirt pulls at the button line and rides out of the waistband.
Which shirt fabric works in Bangkok's heat?
Lightweight cotton poplin and fine oxford handle Bangkok best — breathable outdoors, opaque enough under office lighting, and quick to dry. The real difficulty here is not the heat alone but the swing between 35°C outside and aggressive air conditioning inside, several times a day. A slightly heavier weave copes with that transition better than the thinnest cloth on the shelf, which clings the moment you step outside. Avoid high synthetic content entirely; it traps heat and holds odour in this climate.
What collar and cuff options can I choose?
You choose collar shape and height, cuff style, placket, pocket and buttons on every shirt. The collar is the decision that matters most, because it frames your face and determines whether the shirt works with a tie or worn open. A spread collar suits a fuller knot and a rounder face; a point collar lengthens. Cuffs are simpler — single for daily wear, double if you wear links. We show the options on made-up examples rather than a catalogue, because a drawing tells you very little about how a collar sits.
Can you copy a shirt I already own?
Yes — bring it in. Copying a shirt that already fits you is faster and more accurate than describing what you want, and it removes the guesswork from collar and cuff preferences entirely. We will still measure you, because a favourite shirt is usually a compromise you have stopped noticing. Where the old shirt is wrong we point it out and let you decide whether to keep the quirk or correct it. Bring it clean and unpressed if you can — heavy pressing hides how it actually sits.
